I know..so unlike me…but what a busy week. I have posted a few pictures from last week below - sorry it took so long. Since getting her name on Monday, we went to the Doctor for the first time on Tuesday then Micah went back to work Wednesday and Thursday and Friday we got ready for a weekend of entertaining. Saturday lots of friends came over for a kiddush and then lots more to celebrate on Sunday! It was great for Batya to meet everyone and she enjoyed meeting each of you!
Sunday last week, Batya’s first day home we had the infamous plumbing back-up that our local friends know so well. It seems that whenever you bring a new child home your sewage backs up into the house necessitating replacing the main line from the house to the street - a 8foot deep 45foot long trench in the front yard!
So we escaped the trench, for now. But the city has been here 3 times in 10 days to clean it out and the replacment is inevitable.
Thats about it for now, I will try and update on a more daily basis but bear with me as we adjust to the new scheduling around here!
